Challenge — A Java monolith on legacy DB2 could not absorb peak-demand events without risking downtime during the highest-value transaction windows — and the licensing bill kept climbing.

Build — We decomposed the monolith into event-driven microservices on Kubernetes and migrated DB2 to PostgreSQL using parallel-run validation and a blue-green cutover, so nothing moved until the numbers matched.
